Safer Travel for School Staff

It is our belief that through educating pupils on how they are expected to behave on the school bus we can help to cut down on the disruption caused to teachers who have to deal with any incidents that may occur.  In addition to this we can provide another means by which to promote good behaviour and citizenship.  We also feel that fostering a more orderly environment will also mean that many pupils will arrive at school in a calmer state and therefore more ready to begin classes.  

The Safer Travel tutoring programme can take the shape of a presentation to large or small groups of pupils and we can also hold practical tutoring sessions on the school bus, demonstrating how pupils are expected to behave while also pointing out the dangers and consequences of poor behaviour.

We hope you will seriously consider allowing us to speak with your pupils about school bus safety in the near future and that you will view this as a valuable resource for your school that will make a positive impact on the safety and behaviour of your pupils.
