Parking bays for the disabled within Residents Preferential parking zones are mandatory.  This means that no-one other than a Blue Badge holder should park within the disabled bay.

Disabled Residents who own a vehicle and are also Blue Badge holders may apply for a permit which allows them to park for an unlimited time period within the disabled bays within their zone. Blue Badge holders who are non residents are also allowed to park within the disabled bays but for a maximum period of 3 hours with no return within 1 hour.

To apply for a disabled residents parking permit you should complete the application form for your zone, write your blue badge number and expiry date in the space provided.
