Service Description
You may apply for a Disabled Persons' Parking Place Marking if:
- You or a member of your household, is disabled and has a valid blue badge
- You or that person owns, or has the regular use (as either driver or passenger) of a vehicle that is kept at the address on the application
- You frequently experience difficulty in obtaining a parking space close to the residence
- There is no suitable off-street parking available at the property
- There is sufficient space for the parking bay
- The provision of a bay will not lead to a hazard for other road users
Please be aware that the marking is only advisory and that no authority, including the Police and the County Council, can take any action if another person parks in that space.
Advisory markings cannot be provided where there are parking restrictions of any type present. This includes residents’ parking bays.
The cost of a Disabled Persons' Parking Place Marking is currently £100.00.
