Leicestershire County Council’s Training Centre has been in existence for many years and has developed its teaching profile with in house and external commercial customers in mind.
The Training Centre has been an accredited City and Guilds centre for over 15 years and a member of the Highways Construction Training Association since 2000. This membership has allowed the centre to develop and offer training and certification under the Equipment Operators Registration Scheme (EORS) covering a wide range of construction plant and equipment.
The Centre has gained approval by Lantra Awards as being an Asessment Centre for Sector Scheme 12D - Temporary Traffic Managment on Rural and Urban Roads.
The training centre staff have a wealth of practical experience as well as deep understanding of legislation and civil engineering knowledge.
Leicestershire Highways has training facilities at both Market Harborough and Croft sites.
Specific courses can be delivered at alternative venues, providing facilities are suitable. For additional information contact the training centre.
