Maintenance

Leicestershire County Council has been involved in highway maintenance for many years.

Through our extensive experience of working for external clients such as the Highways Agency, NHS Trusts, local developers, housing associations and other private sector customers, we can offer a complete package to fulfill any infrastructure requirement (see the typical range of services listed below).

Our services include

Drainage installation works and maintenance	Carriageway markings and lining
Storm drain emptying and jetting	Installation and maintenance of pedestrian barriers and bollards
Patching and reinstatement of footways, carriageways and car parks	Block paving
High quality pot hole repairs	Asphalt recycler – our mobile asphalt recycler enables us to offer a cost effective, more environmentally friendly resurfacing by recycling and relaying existing asphalt on site.

Did you know...

Following the severe winter of 2009/10, Leicestershire County Council fixed up to 100 pot holes a day. An independent study in 2009/10 by Price Waterhouse Coopers showed that Leicestershire has amongst the best maintained roads in the country.
