8am - 8pm April to October
8am - 6pm November to March
Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day
Vehicles are allowed access to the site up to 5 minutes before closing time. Vehicles must be off-site by closing time.
The site is located on Railway Terrace to the north-east of Loughborough.
The site can be located by following signs for the Railway Station, which is near to the site.  If approaching from the south on Nottingham Road, turn right into Morley Street, and then turn left onto Falcon Street at the end.  At the junction with Railway Terrace go through the traffic lights and the site entrance is slightly to the left.  If approaching from the north on Nottingham Road, turn left onto Morley Street.

We also accept pre-sorted household waste that contains no materials that can be recycled.  If you are using any type of van or a trailer over 4'6" in length (from front board to back board) you will need to obtain a permit to tip.

hardcore & rubble

The County Council has been exploring the potential to upgrade and improve the current building and land to the rear of the RHWS with a view to using the land to transfer waste more efficiently.  The Council has now submitted a planning application, number 2011/L448/02 which can be viewed on the County Council Planning website at http://www.leics.gov.uk/index/environment/planning/community_services_planning.htm
During 2004 and 2005 Loughborough CA Site went through major redevelopment to provide improved facilities for users of the site and enhance recycling performance.  To find out more about this construction click on the link below.
