Vehicles are allowed access to the site up to 5 minutes before closing time. Vehicles must be off-site by closing time.
The site is located to the west of Melton Mowbray and is best accessed via the A607.
From the north the site is access via a mini roundabout on the A607. Turn right at the mini roundabout onto Lake Terrace and take the first turn on the right, the site is on the left near to the end on the road.
If approaching the site from the A607 from the south go straight over Edendale Road roundabout, then turn left at the mini roundabout onto Lake Terrace, turn right and the site is near the end of the road.

Aluminum and steel food and drink cans can be deposited in the scrap metal container for recycling.
We also accept pre-sorted household waste that contains no materials that can be recycled. If you are using any type of van or a trailer over 4'6" in length (from front board to back board) you will need to obtain a permit to tip. Construction and demolition waste is accepted in small amounts, follow link for more information. Asbestos may be disposed of at this site with a permit. To obtain a permit please call 0116 305 0001.
- All Asbestos cement (sheets and broken pieces) should be double wrapped in clear plastic before being brought to site.
- Do not break or cut the asbestos cement to fit small bags, but double wrap it in clear plastic sheeting
- Damp down with water to prevent the release of asbestos cement fibres
- No other types of asbestos can be accepted on the sites
