Welcome to the Leicestershire Real Nappy Network

The Leicestershire Real Nappy Network was set up by Leicestershire County Council in September 2008.

The objective of the Network is to ensure an effective and co-ordinated approach to promoting the use of real nappies in Leicestershire and Leicester City, through our lending kit, cash back, Nappuccino schemes and other initiatives.

The intended purpose of this network is to implement a more uniform and organised approach to real nappy promotion across the County and City.

The aim is to prevent disposable nappies being sent to landfill by offering a more environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative through incentive schemes, promotions and events.

As part of the Leicestershire Real Nappy Network we hold Nappuccinos at various locations across the County and we are hoping to increase this number. These are coffee mornings designed to provide you with all the information you need about real nappies.

We also offer Leicestershire residents the chance to try real nappies for free with our lending kit. This kit contains a selection of different types and styles of real nappies for you to try before you buy.

Lastly, we offer Leicestershire residents the chance to claim £30 cashback when you purchase real nappies and keep the receipt. It couldn’t be simpler!
