Publication of Pennbury Strategic Assessment – 18 December 2008

Pennbury Strategic Assessment

Leicestershire County Council, jointly with Harborough District Council, Oadby & Wigston Borough Council and Leicester City Council, commissioned work by independent consultants to examine the Pennbury proposals.
The consultants were selected jointly by the four Councils following a competitive bidding process. One of the requirements was that they should not be involved in any other eco-town work, for either promoters or Government. Their findings are their own views, not those of the Councils, who will each pursue their own route, through their respective Council Committees, to arrive at any decision re. Pennbury.
The Summary Report of this work is supported by a number of technical papers:
All Technical Papers can be found on Harborough District Council's website and cover the following areas.
Employment and Retail
Housing
Transport
Environment
Landscape and Design
Review of Major Sites
Policy Review
