Submission Consultation

The Council submitted its minerals and waste core strategy and development control policies documents to the Secretary of State on the 23rd June 2008.  Consultation on the documents ran until 5pm on 4th August 2008.  A page has been created for the minerals examination and a separate page for the waste examination.

Cabinet

Prior to any documents going out for consultation the two documents went before the County Council's Cabinet on 8th April 2008 for approval to be forwarded to the Council's Environment and Overview Scrutiny Committee.  The documents were considered by Scrutiny on 15th April 2008 and were sent back to Cabinet on the 6th May 2008 for final approval to be passed to full Council.  The documents went to the Council meeting on 21 May 2008.  Minutes of the meetings can all be found via the link below.
