Cabinet

Prior to any documents going out for consultation the development plan documents went before the County Council's Cabinet for approval. The Waste and Minerals Development Frameworks were considered and approved by Cabinet on 26th July 2006.  The minutes of the Cabinet meeting can be found via the link below.

Advertisement

The County Council placed an advert in the local papers on the week ending 11th August advertising the preferred options consultation and the dates and locations of public exhibitions to be held. Click here for the preferred options advert.

The consultation ran for 6 weeks, from 25th August 2006 to 6th October 2006.  The documents consulted on are available to view below:

Workshop

Government agencies, members of industry and adjoining district and county councils were invited to a workshop held on 18th September 2006 at County Hall, Glenfield. A list of attendees and electronic versions of the posters developed from 'round table' discussions.
