Call for new waste sites

In early 2010 the Councils asked waste operators, waste agents and landowners to supply information on land they wished to be considered for use for future waste management.  All of the submitted information and plans can be viewed for all the sites put forward (though not all were selected as suitable) via the following link - Waste Sites for Consideration.  A limited consultation on all the sites put forward for consideration was undertaken and following this the sites were assessed.  A summary of the responses received up to and including 1 November 2010 can be seen via the following link - Summary of Responses on Waste Sites for Potential Allocation.  The timetable for the production of the Waste Site Allocations document can be viewed below (now out of date).
