Mineral Searches

The Planning Group is responsible for responding to requests for information received from potential purchasers of land or property who are concerned that the land they are interested in may be affected by past, present or future minerals or waste operations. The Group responds to these requests as quickly as possible by producing a computer generated report.

A charge is made for this service which is presently set at £47 including VAT. The charge for this service is reviewed every two years.

To undertake a mineral and waste search please write to the Planning Group stating the property address and if you are unsure about the address please provide a location plan., with a cheque made payable to Leicestershire County Council for the above amount and send it to The Planning Group to the below address.
