The erection, construction, maintenance, improvement or alteration of a gate, fence, wall or other means of enclosure.
Planning permission is required for the erection, construction, maintenance, improvement
or alteration of a gate, fence, wall or other means of enclosure if the height is above 1m adjacent
to a highway, or it exceeds 2m above ground level, or its previous height and the development is within
the curtilage, or surrounds a listed building.
Development by or on behalf of sewage Undertakers
Planning permission is required for any new sewage treatment works, e.g.
- Building ( structure / erection)
- Extension or alteration that materially affects the design, appearance, or the height exceeds the original, or cubic content or floor space.
- The installation or erection of any plant or machinery exceeding 15 metres in height or the height of anything it replaces, whichever is the greater.
Temporary building / use
The provision on land of buildings
Planning permission may be required for any new, moveable structures, works, plant
or machinery required temporarily in connection with and for the duration of operations being or to
be carried out on, in, under or over that land or on land adjoining that land.
The formation, laying out and construction of a means of access to a highway which
is not a trunk road or a classified road, where that access is required in connection with development
permitted by any Class in the ‘Town and Country (General Permitted Development) Order 1995.
