Bagworth Heath Woods Country Park
The 75- hectare area of Bagworth Heath Woods is on the former site of Desford Colliery.  The site includes a demonstration woodland, monitoring the success of a variety of woodland tree species.

Did you know?

Royal Tiger Wood and Centenary Wood are next to Bagworth Heath Wood.
Royal Tigers Wood is a 14 hectare native species woodland with a small arboretum representing 17 species of trees from the countries in which the Royal Leicestershire Regiment served.
Centenary Wood is comprised of 27 hectares of native broad-leaved trees and shrubs.
