Get on yer bike and explore Leicestershire.  There are many quiet and attractive places to go with family or friends, as well as routes for everyday journeys particularly in towns or in and around the city of Leicester.

FREE Cycling Maps now available

A set of six cycle maps covering the whole of Leicestershire (city and county) are now available. the maps feature recommended routes, cycle parking, refreshment stops, bike shops and good cycling tips.
Printed copies are available from libraries and tourist information centres.
No. 1 - Leicester City covers all of Central Leicestershire (on City Council website)
No. 2 - Loughborough Area
No. 3 - Melton Mowbray Area
No. 4 - Market Harborough and Lutterworth Area
No. 5 - Hinckley & Bosworth Area
No. 6 - Coalville Area and the National Forest covers all NW Leicestershire District
Blaby District is covered by the Leicester City and Hinckley & Bosworth cycling maps.
Oadby & Wigston Borough is included on the Leicester City cycling map.

Connect2 Project improving cycle links through Watermead Country Park

The Connect2 Project aims to create new pedestrian and cycle links between Watermead Country Park and the surrounding villages, as well as improving access to bridges within the park for people with mobility difficulties.
