Photographic Competition

Do you fancy yourself as the latest local wildlife photographer for 2008?

If you do and are handy with a camera, we’d love to hear from you!

Why not enter this great competition and stamp your mark on the wildlife of Watermead - producing a lasting legacy of the Park.

Entries must be digital images taken during the three years immediately prior to the closing date (3 September).
Scans or prints are not permitted.
No picture may be entered in more than one category.
Each image constitutes an entry into the competition and attracts an entry fee of £5.00

Prizes

1st prize - Watermead Photographer of the year 2008 (overall winner)
Half day individual tuition with Danny Green (award winning wildlife photographer), plus a Country Park Season Ticket for a year.

Category Winners
Winners of individual categories will each receive a £10 gift voucher from Jessops plus a Country Park Season Ticket for a year.

Results

Results will be announced on Sunday 14th September at Watermead Country Park.
Photographs will be displayed at Syston, Thurmaston and Birstall Libraries thereafter.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into thereafter.

Closing date for entries is 3rd September 2008.
