Fishing Lakes

The Grange Nature Reserve has two fishing lakes (one acre) with a total of 40 fishing
pegs from which to choose, some of these are tailored for disabled anglers. Both lakes are stocked with
a variety of fish including Roach, Perch, Tench, Barbel, Bream, Chub and Carp. The greater density of
carp are in the Carp lake with some specimens in excess of 20lbs.
Either lake
can be booked for matches from the beginning of September until the
end of April, subject to availability. It is advisable to book these well in advance due to popularity.
You can purchase daily tickets direct from the Rangers and Bailiffs. Just start
fishing at your chosen peg and they will find you and issue you with a ticket.

- Adults: £6
- Juniors and Consessions: £4
- Summer Evenings (after 4pm), adults, juniors and concessions: £4
Alternatively, a Fishing Season Ticket allows
you to fish an additional four lakes located at Watermead and Market Bosworth.
