Jubilee Wood

Bluebells (Hyacinthoides non scriptus) can be seen at Jubilee WoodThe site comprises ten hectares of mixed woodland with rocky outcrops and was presented to Leicestershire County Council in 1977 to commemorate the Queen's Silver Jubilee.
The site is adjacent to The Outwoods, managed by Charnwood Borough Council.

  • The site is adjacent to The Outwoods and 2 miles north-west of the Beacon Hill Lower car park.

Open dawn to dusk walks Parking Parking and access is available from neighbouring Outwoods or from Woodhouse Lane.

Conservation Volunteers

Volunteers constructing the Natural Play AreaConservation volunteering is a great way to keep fit, meet people, learn new skills and to develop your knowledge of the countryside.
