Emergency Management

The Emergency Management Team has the legal responsibility to produce the following plans for Leicestershire County Council:
- Major Incident Plan
- Emergency Centre Plan
- Pipeline Plan
- COMAH Plans
Leicestershire County Council is a member of the Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Local Resilience Forum. This forum has been established under the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 to identify local risks and ensure that the appropriate contingency plans and control measures are in place.
