Delivery of Youth Work Fund
A total of 84 applications were received from 37 different organisations requesting funding to the value of (Yr 1) £868,220 which was more than four times the available budget.
Young people from County Youth Council for Leicestershire (CYCLe) met on Saturday 2nd April to review the Delivery of Youth Work applications.
Representatives from each of the seven District and Boroughs and Integrated Youth Support Services, Voluntary Action Leicestershire, Connexions, the Chair of CYCLe and the Youth Service Management team met on April 5th to also review the Delivery of Youth Work applications.
A total of 21 separate applications were approved, totalling £202,148 in yr 1 and £207,798 in Yr 2. These applications came from 12 different organisations, 8 of which are new providers.
