Diploma Development : Appointment of Lead Practitioners

The 13 - 19 partnership wishes to identify a practitioner to take the lead role in developing learning in each Diploma Line.
This is a unique professional development opportunity to be at the very vanguard of secondary educational development and pioneer the new diploma in its pilot phase and beyond.
Expressions of interest to be registered by 2nd September 2008.
Phase Two Diploma Guidance
The phase two Diploma guidance is available on the QCA website: http://www.qca.org.uk/qca_13470.aspx
This material was launched early last week and received a very positive response when it was demonstrated as part of a launch seminar "14-19 Diplomas: signposting the future".
The guidance at all three levels, for all five Lines of Learning, is available on the above site as well as support materials exemplifying how to build PLTS, Functional Skills and Applied Learning into the teaching and learning (these can be found as part of the "integrated curriculum" section).
Over the coming weeks QCA are planning to update the generic text and the phase one Lines of Learning, and will also be adding further supporting materials.
