The following resources have been created to support teachers in developing effective questioning techniques. This will support the implementation of Assessing Pupil Progress (APP) but will also provide resources to extend teachers’ understanding of the range of questions and opportunities that should be part of the everyday repertoire in the classroom.
Some of the resources link to assessment focuses and others are more general. We have included guidance about Bloom’s Taxonomy which and we suggest that teachers consider the links that can be made between the Blooms and the assessment focuses.
We will add, in the near future, a presentation that subject leaders could use to support any professional development that they might be leading.
