The team provides the following services:
- Centrally organised INSET supporting assessment issues, e.g. Assessment for Learning, Marking and Feedback, Using and Understanding the Pupil Achievement Tracker, making links with the Primary Strategy (Rosemary Payne and others as appropriate).
- Teacher groups for Primary and Secondary phases (meeting once/twice termly). The primary group can also be organised through development groups.
- Support for schools requiring additional support and for schools preparing for inspection. (Rosemary Payne).
- Issues relating to Statutory Assessment e.g. Key Stage 1 moderation (Rosemary Payne).
- Courses run jointly with LEAMIS to support data analysis. (Rosemary Payne).
Support for the new whole school ‘Assessment for Learning’ modules in the Key Stage 3 strategy (Rosemary Payne).
