Although this guidance was written specifically for a schools’ meeting it is applicable across all parts of the Authority.
What to do if you think you have a concern
The initial point of contact for a school which believes that it has been misled in respect of a contract that it has entered into or wishes to obtain more information in respect to a scam alert is the LCC Trading Standard Service. Agreed protocol for schools - Comercial Disputes and Trading Scams gives details of the number to contact should you need to discuss a specific issue, plus details of how your concern will be dealt with.
