Training Charges
All child protection training provided by Leicestershire Children and Young People’s Service is subsidised. The charges made do not reflect the full cost to the Service in terms of staff time, travel, materials, venue and refreshment costs.
Leicestershire Children and Young People’s Service provides training to staff (Central Service or Schools) with designated responsibility for child protection free of charge.
The training provided by Leicestershire Children and Young People’s Service is also available to individuals from independent, private educational establishments and Leicester City schools at a cost of £40 per person for half -day training and £110 per person for full day courses.

Cancellations
Please note Safer Recruitment and Designated Senior Person training sessions are free of charge for County maintained schools. If you are unable to attend a course please inform us asap to enable us to avoid incurring additional charges from the venue.
Please note the closing date for all courses.
All applications must be received by this date. Lack of applications for any course will result in cancellation.
