STRESS BUSTER TOOLKIT

A Healthier Lifestyle

The concept of us being responsible for looking after our own health and wellbeing is not novel or unique.  What can be novel is actually giving ourselves the time needed to make any necessary changes to our lifestyle so that we do eat well, get enough rest, exercise, relaxation and so on.
Whilst some pressure in our lives is a necessary thing stress, which is the body’s automatic response to too much pressure, is actually bad for us.
Getting rid of unnecessary stresses and strains in life is therefore a good starting point for improving health and resilience.
This toolkit is designed to support your aims to care for yourself.  There are no ‘should do this’ or ‘should do that’.  You will know what, if any, changes you need to make and how best to do it.  Work your way through the toolkit menu to gain a greater awareness about stress and ways to prevent stress taking a hold in your life.
The toolkit also includes links to some useful websites.
