The Government’s policy ambition of seeing all schools convert to academy status in due course will fundamentally change the educational landscape in Leicestershire.

Leicestershire’s Academies Programme is designed to manage this period of change so that Leicestershire County Council deals effectively with transition issues and schools can continue to focus on educational excellence.
