What is an Educational Psychologist?
All Educational Psychologists working for Leicestershire County Council are fully qualified, having either masters degrees or doctorates in educational psychology. We also employ four trainee educational psychologists who are in the final stages of their training and who work under close supervision. Their training and experience focuses on using applied psychology to help the development and educational progress of children and young people (age 0 – 19). They are members of The Psychology Service, which is one of Leicestershire County Council’s support services.
