Snips are looking for anyone who is able to come along and support young people with disabilities to take part in a variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts and outdoors pursuits which includes quad bikes, archery and climbing. Focus is a national charity that runs a personal development programme called InterAction, which brings together young people who are lacking in opportunities, adults with disabilities and volunteers. Together they work on a variety of fun, team based activities and challenges designed to help them develop skills and self confidence that will better enable them to achieve their own goals in life. The InterAction programme is made up of six different stages, which includes residential projects and local community based projects.

Volunteers are needed to work in teams alongside young people lacking in opportunities and adults with disabilities on a range of projects. Volunteers don't need any previous experience; just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn about yourself and others and a flexible attitude. All volunteers receive full training and support throughout their involvement and are encouraged to pursue their own learning and development.
