In order for you to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award you will need to purchase a Participation Place.

These are available at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels and cost £11.50 for Bronze and Silver and £17.25 for Gold.

Participation places are purchased through your local DofE group, however independent participants may purchase one by contacting the DofE administrator at Beaumanor Hall.

When it comes to planning your Expedition there may some be costs involved such as payment of campsite fees, transport costs and purchase of your Expedition food.

Any further costs depend upon what activities you have chosen to do for the other three sections. It is quite possible to complete the Skills, Volunteering and Physical Recreation sections with no further cost to yourself at all.
