Come to our Open Morning

Saturday 9th April 2011

GUTHLAXTON COLLEGE,

STATION ROAD, WIGSTON MAGNA

10.00AM - 12.00PM

Time PROGRAMME
09.45 Parents / Carers arrive at Abington High School car park with their child and walk over to Guthlaxton College to the Front Entrance Main Foyer
10.00 Welcome and introduction by Sandy Hay, Head of Music and Helen Fisher, Head of Bands & Orchestras.

During the course of the morning you will have a choice of ensembles to visit. The choice of ensembles to visit will relate to your child’s instrument, age and grade attained. Please click on the link below to download an Open Morning leaflet with reply slip.
You will be able to: -
  1. to watch rehearsals;
  2. join in with the rehearsal for a short time if you wish;
  3. join students during the break and talk to them about playing in the music group;
  4. talk with the conductor or other staff who will be on site.
