Arts in Education works with pupils and schools in MUSIC, DANCE and DRAMA. We have our specialist teams and work in partnership with other artists and professionals.
The Department for Children Schools and Families has published guidance about government aspirations for music and instrumental / vocal learning in schools.

  • workshops to give young musicians in your area a chance to play or sing together.
Performance opportunities:
We offer young people a range of performance opportunities at venues like De Montfort Hall, Knighton Fields Centre, Loughborough Town Hall and local community colleges.
We offer school matinees and collaborate with other artists to introduce children to live music, dance and drama.
Arts in Education is a trading service of the LA and has to meet its costs. The Standards Fund for Music and support from the LA enables the service to keeps its costs down, but only represents around one fifth of the service's income.
