Learning an instrument
The music team of specialist musicians can provide:
- instrumental music lessons for every orchestral and band instrument, Guitar and Keyboard, Tabla, Steel Pans and Voice;
- projects to support the wider opportunities pledge at KS2 that every child should have the chance to learn a musical instrument or sing with a vocal specialist;
- performance opportunities in our central and area orchestras, bands, ensembles and choirs;
- conductors for school bands, orchestras, choirs and music making groups;
- demonstration/taster sessions in schools by individual or groups of musicians;
- workshops to give young musicians in your area a chance to play or sing together.
- the loan of orchestral string instruments, Oboes, Bassoons, French horns, Trombones, Euphoniums and Tubas.
