Due to the changes in funding for Paediatric First Aid Courses above is a list (with contact details) of training organised by trainers on our preferred trainers’ list.  Please note that you will need to book and pay for this training directly with the training providers listed. We cannot contribute financially to these courses.

The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a key part of the Every Child Matters agenda. Its aim is to ensure that every child receives the services to which they are entitled and those which they need. The CAF avoids duplication, aids sharing of information and delivers consistent services for children and families. The Leicestershire County Council's Common Assessment Framework (CAF) Basic Awareness e-learning package is now available online for Leicestershire County Council staff and Multi Agency Partners.  Please click on the link below to access the nominations or request form for the CAF e-learning:

Straight after the training, there is an opportunity to feedback.  Please do take a few moments to complete the on-line evaluation form.  Please be aware, the training will be reviewed in the autumn as there is an awareness that this is an interim solution to meet the needs of requests whilst face-to-face training is unavailable.
The completion of the elearning, together with support from the CAF team and colleagues who have experience of CAF, should equip you to feel confident to use the CAF process.
