Early Learning Support Centre

Every term the Early Learning and Childcare Service gets aboard the Mobile Community Centre for the our termly suport centres. These are a chance for Leicestershire's providers to come and meet our team, pick up some useful information or just to come and say hello. We travel all over Leicestershire, so we will be sure to stop at a place near you.

Each support centre has a different theme, depending on what's happening in the world of early education. Whatever it is there are always displays onboard and information for you to take away. There's no need to book, simply turn up on the day and  jump on board.

The Support Centre will be out and about across Leicestershire's children's centres in April.   The aim of holding the support centre within the children centre is to enable childminders to bring their minded children along where they can be in comfortable surroundings to discuss any issues with their Improvement and Development Advisors.  The new toy Library will be available at the Children’s centre in Shelthorpe.

We will also be using the New Look mobile support centre in some rural areas in Market Harborough, Melton, and NWL.

Please come along and have a chat with your Improvement and Development Advisor. Bring along any information that you may need answers to or support on such as learning journeys or just come along to ask questions. Hope to see you there.
