What the children did The children shared their favourite stories and books, in pairs, groups and with adults. Parents and carers were invited into the setting to share favourite stories with small groups of children. The children and carers worked together to produce letters, asking other family members what their favourite stories were as children. Learning outcome
The children began to develop an understanding that people have different views and preferences. They developed respect for these differences. They strengthened their sense of self, as they confirmed their own preferences, likes and dislikes. They began to explore and develop themselves as part of a group. They began to appreciate the similarities and differences between their own family and their friends' family. |
