Since opening in January 2000, the Leicestershire Register Office, based at County Hall, Glenfield has continued to be in high demand.

Designed to meet the needs of everyone and conveniently located for access from the M1, this purpose built air-conditioned modern suite can accommodate parties numbering four to fifty.

There are free car parking spaces outside the private entrance to the office, with ample additional parking on-site on Saturdays, and couples are welcome to use the courtyard and landscaped grounds of County Hall for photography. The whole of the office is at ground level, allowing easy access for disabled visitors, and the County Suite has a hearing loop installed.

The Register Office is self contained with its own entrance; wedding parties do not need to access the facilities via the main County Hall building.

The Register Office can, for an extra fee, stream your ceremony over the internet or record it to DVD
