Since 17th September 2011 Loughborough Registration Service is located on Southfield Road next to the Charnwood Borough Council offices. There is no access to the service via the Council offices.

The entrance for the service is down the far right hand side of the building with the new Premier Inn hotel on your right. Green signs on the outside of the building will direct you to the entrance door where there is an intercom buzzer.

About the ceremony rooms

Loughborough Registration Service has two ceremony rooms. The Charnwood Room and The Music Room. Both rooms have flower arrangements included in cream and green. Access to the garden is via the Music Room and allows a great opportunity for photographs.

The Charnwood Room holds 18 people including two registration staff and is ideal for smaller ceremonies. It has a wonderful view through full length bay windows onto the garden and is decorated in neutral colours with light wood panelling.

The Music Room holds 44 people including registration staff . It is classically styled and full of character, with oak panelling, chandeliers and decorative ceiling. The centre piece is the original, wood surround fire place which provides plenty of opportunity for photographs.

Car Parking
There is ample pay and display parking in the Beehive Lane car park which can be accessed from Woodgate.

On Saturdays the Borough Council car park is pay and display and is open to the general public, but Monday to Friday is for permit holders only. Please do not park in this car park Monday – Friday as you may receive a ticket.

Parking for ceremonial vehicles is permitted in the designated area off Southfield Road inside the green metal gates, which will be signposted. One vehicle per ceremony can be accommodated in this area and the remainder of guests are requested to park in the pay and display car parks nearby.
