If the marriage took place Leicestershire and would like a copy certificate then you should apply to the Leicestershire Register Office using our online form or in person or by completing our application for a copy marriage certificate form and sending it to us at the address below.

The certificate can be collected from the office or can be posted out to you.

This service is only available if the marriage occurred and was registered in the County of Leicestershire.

If you are writing to Leicestershire Register Office your cheque or postal order should be made payable to ‘Leicestershire County Council’ and a self-addressed stamped envelope should be included with your application.
