Copy Civil Partnership Certificate
If the civil partnership was registered in Leicestershire and you would like a copy certificate then you should apply to the Leicestershire Register Office by letter, in person or by completing our application for a copy civil partnership certificate and send it to the address below.
The certificate can be collected from the office or can be posted out to you.
PLEASE NOTE:
This service is ONLY available if the civil partnership occurred and was registered in the County of Leicestershire.
What information is required?
You will need to supply the following information:
- Forename(s) and surname
- The address of both parties at the time of registration
- Date of Civil Partnership
- Address where registered
What is the cost of a Copy Civil Partnership Certificate?
The cost for a full copy or extract of a Civil Partnership Certificate is £7.00.
If you are writing to Leicestershire Register Office your cheque or postal order should be made payable to ‘Leicestershire County Council’ and a self-addressed stamped envelope should be included with your application.
Please allow 3 to 5 working days from receipt of request to process your application.
