Leicestershire County Council offers two types of ceremony - our Standard Ceremony or our Bespoke Ceremony. No matter which ceremony you choose you can be assured that our trained professional Celebrant's will endeavour to make your day special and unique and will create a day that you and your family and friends will remember and treasure in the years that follow.

Our Standard Ceremony offers the chance to choose between two ceremony options. There is limited scope to choose from a small selection of promises and readings provided by us.

The ceremony includes the following elements -

The Standard Ceremony does not include the option of a pre-ceremony meeting with your Celebrant, however your Celebrant will contact you prior to your ceremony either by telephone or e-mail to confirm final arrangements. Standard Ceremonies are only available at County Registration Suites.

Our Bespoke Ceremony offers the chance to include more elements within your ceremony and a greater degree of personal choice. It includes all the elements within the Standard Ceremony but has a greater choice of promises or the option for you to write your own promises. You are able to include extra readings and are able as parents to re-dedicate yourselves to each other and your family.

The Bespoke Ceremony offers the chance of a pre-ceremony meeting with your Celebrant to help you devise your ceremony according to your own wishes.

As these ceremonies are so personal and suit many varied circumstances they are only available as a Bespoke option.
