Jack Frost Competition - Winners Presentation

These are the winning designs of the prize winners of the Events Guide 'Jack Frost'
Competition. Snibston Discovery Museum hosted the event that had Chairman of Leicestershire County Council,
Tony Kershaw and his Consort, Freda Kershaw presenting prizes to the winners.
The
standard was extremely high with everyone running wild with their imagination, demonstrating hard work
& outstanding artistic achievements.
Third place entry, chosen for it’s
astounding artistic merit, was won by Chloe Taylor from Birstall, aged 10 She displayed
a fine sense of proportion, an imaginative use of colour, and Jack’s rosy cheeks made him appear warm
& friendly.3rd Prize -Chloe Taylor

2nd prize - Chloe Pogmore

First
place was won by Katie Rowett from Measham aged 9 who used an inspired contrast
of spiky & swirly shapes. Jack almost jumps from the page as he stands out from the background of icy colours.

All winners
received a goodie
bag. There were over 150 entries to this ever popular competition. The prizes were art
sets worth £20.
