The Miners' Gala

Held Annually in September

Snibston hosts an annual Miners' Gala, to celebrate Coalville’s mining heritage.

Past years have included

• music including brass bands, folk singers
• a horticultural show
• colliery and railway tours
• displays by local history groups
• childrens workshops
• mining memorabilia sales
• ferret racing
• dogs shows

plus much more and often starts with a parade through Coalville.
