Name the Teddy Bears Competition!

we introduce our two new Steiff bears which have
recently been added to our collection, and will become part of the Toy Box display here at Snibston.
Both bears were made around 1910 in the Steiff workshop, Germany. During their
long lives, they have seen two World wars, the invention of television, radio and the Internet. They
have seen people travel into Space and land on the Moon. Imagine what tales they could tell!
Sadly,
our bears had no names which is why we asked for your help!
Competition Winners
Each
winner received a Snibston Family Season Ticket for 4, plus a book voucher to the value of £20.
The
overall winner was also awarded their very own Steiff bear.
- Thomas Simpson - 6 years and under winner and overall winner (Leicester)
- Alice Sansome - 7-11 years winner (Hinckley)
- Alex Wood - 12-18 years winner (Melton Mowbray)
- Alison Onyelekere - 18 years plus (Dagenham)
The bears will be called Hindenburg and
Zeppelin.
