‘The galleries at Snibston are all suitable for delivering learning outcomes at
Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. A visit to Snibston will support children with a wide variety of learning
styles and will provide an ideal opportunity to motivate students’ interest in study topics. If you
are looking for a place for an ‘Inspiration Day’ to start a theme, Snibston is an ideal venue.
As well as covering science, history, maths and design, a visit to Snibston is excellent
at encouraging speaking and listening skills, providing a context for creative writing and developing
students’ reasoning skills.
Snibston is also committed to supporting students with SEN. Staff work with Children
and Young People Services at Leicestershire County Council to develop bespoke learning activities at
Snibston for excluded young people with Autism. Our Learning Team has experience in this area
built up over a number of years. If you wish to discuss your particular needs please Contact
Us.
