Allow children to briefly look around the museum and ensure that they are aware of subject themes of objects housed in each gallery.
Show children the A - Z sheet, explaining its written format and challenge them
to explore the museum carefully. They should look for appropriate information from the objects displayed
to enable them to complete each sentence, related to a letter of the alphabet. For example, 'A is for
-----(Andrew), Mr Carnegie's first name.'
Give any assistance as necessary, whilst allowing children to extract relevant details
as needed for themselves.
When sheets are completed, inform children of correctly-completed A - Z sentences
and allow children to compare these with their own.
