Information for Teachers
Melton Carnegie Museum offers educational services for visiting groups.
Pre-booked educational sessions at the museum can provide an opportunity for enhanced learning through closer interaction with real and replica museum objects.
The workshops are available for Key Stages one, two and three and are delivered at a cost of £2.00 per pupil by our in house education team.
Sessions cover a number of themes including Local History, Toys and Games – Past and Present, World War II, and a number of workshops on life in Tudor times including home life, pastimes, food and drink, clothing and fashions, health and remedies, law and order, and punishment and pleasures.
Sessions are flexible and can be adapted to your needs.
We can also help with sessions and objects for other subject areas. Contact the museum if you would like to find out more.
Tell us what you think.
