Melton Museum's Community Room

A super new feature of the improved museum is a multi-functional, state of the art, self-contained community room on the first floor. With oak- beamed roof trusses and duplex windows providing natural light, the new community room offers excellent facillities. It will provide a local community hub and educational space that can be used by local groups for meetings, lectures and conferences for up to 60 people. The space is flexible in that it can easily be partitioned off with a sliding sound-proof wall, to provide two separate furnished areas – one with an interactive whiteboard, the second has a plasma screen and kitchenette area – both with fully accessible toilets and a lift.
Help us find a name this room and you could win £25! See our Name the Room Competition for details of how to enter.
The room is available for hire seven days a week during the museum’s usual opening times.
