Temporary Closure of Harborough Museum27th October 2008 - Spring 2009Harborough
Museum will be closing temporarily from 27th October 2008 until Spring 2009. During
this time, the Museum will be revamped as part of a £934,000 project to display one of the most significant
Iron Age finds in Britain - the Southeast Leicestershire Treasure! ![]() Old
favourites, such as the Falkner Boot and Shoe Workshop, the Harborough long
case clock and the Symington corsets will be back on show when the museum re-opens in the spring. The
displays will also include other unique Harborough artefacts, such as the door from the stables run
by Cherry Angel at Lubenham. The Symington
Collection of corsets features in the Fashion Gallery at Snibston. For
